Every month, the U.S. Department of State releases the Visa Bulletin, a critical tool for those navigating the Green Card process. It outlines which priority dates are eligible to move forward and when applicants can file for Adjustment of Status.
We strongly recommend monitoring the Visa Bulletin and Adjustment of Status regularly, as monthly changes can significantly affect your immigration strategy.
Key Updates for July – Employment-Based Categories (EB-1A and EB-2 NIW):
1/ USCIS confirmed it continues to follow the Final Action Dates chart for July 2025. This means that only applicants with a priority date earlier than the listed date on that chart or marked as current (“C”) are eligible to file their Adjustment of Status applications.
2/ 1st Preference – EB-1 (Aliens of extraordinary ability, Outstanding Professors and Researchers, and Certain Multinational Managers or Executives):
- All Chargeability Areas, Mexico and the Philippines remain current;
- China advanced 1 week to November 15, 2022;
- India remains unchanged;
3/ 2nd Preference – EB-2 NIW (Members of the Professions and Aliens of Exceptional Ability):
- All Chargeability Areas, India, Mexico and the Philippines remain unchanged;
- China advanced 2 weeks to December 15, 2020;
Remember, staying updated with the Visa Bulletin can help you stay ahead and make informed decisions.
